Both a table and a shelf. A futuristic shape with a maximalistic attitude, allowing maximal storage space on minimal floor space. Just rotate the planes and let Twist Table expand or contract, like a multi-storey table in front of the sofa or additional shelving by the wall. Philip Edis found his inspiration for a simple and space-saving device in the circus:ÒI was entranced by a clown spinning several hula hoops when I was a child. With Twist Table I want to transmute that beautiful movement into a single, yet adjustable image.ÓA lot of work has gone into creating a perfect and tight fit between the cylindrical segments of the planes and the axis. The two intermediate shelves of the Twist Table pivot around the axis, which allows for more or less space according to your needs.
