Antique Chinese carved bench. Beneath the leg extenders at each corner are beautifully carved spandrels depicting stylized dragons. Of special interest is the carving on the foot of each leg and the easily seen mortise and tenon construction. Benches make sturdy seating, can work as a coffee table just by itself or placed next to a mate, and be used at the foot of a bed. Beautiful as a pair but sold separately. Price listed is for each. Medium brown finish.
